Our Associate Therapists are all graduates with their Masters Degrees in the field of Counseling Psychology and/or Marriage and Family Therapy.

All of our Associates are registered with the state of California Board of Behavioral Sciences. As pre-licensed clinicians, they are working under the supervision of Avis Attaway, PsyD, LMFT to complete their required 3000 hours for licensure.

Each of our therapists is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches and most work with all populations and issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma and relationships.

Licensed in Marriage & Family Therapy in 1997, with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I specialize in relationships - those you have with others, including the one you have with yourself. Depression, anxiety and trauma all interrupt these relationships, especially the one we have with ourself.

Using your attachment and learning experiences as the lens for understanding your issues, I utilize a bottom-up (body-mind) approach in my treatment. This means you have a direct experience in therapy which creates change, called a corrective emotional experience. This is laser-like and lasting.
